Эта серия написана в одноименный период в Санкт-Петербурге. Особый промежуток в жизни города, когда после полугодового железобетонного неба над головой, оно становится светлее день ото дня, пока не достигнет максимума в июне. В работах я хотела отразить контраст, который открывается в начале апреля между небом цвета молока и еще не озеленившейся голой природой.
Картины выполнены в смешанной технике: нижние слои прописаны в традиционной масляной живописи, а последующие деревья и фактурная трава заливками. Это довольна хаотичная и спонтанная техника, которая периодически приводит к непредсказуемым результатам. А также очень зависит от состояния художника и того насколько он совладал и понял, как работать с пф-красками без кистей и в непривычном горизонтальном положении.
This series was written during the period of the same name in St. Petersburg. A special period in the life of the city when, after a six-month reinforced concrete sky overhead, it becomes lighter day by day until it reaches its maximum in June. In my works I wanted to reflect the contrast that opens in early April between the milk-colored sky and the bare nature that has not yet greened up.
The paintings are made in mixed media: the lower layers are painted in traditional oil painting, and the subsequent trees and textured grass are filled in. This is a rather chaotic and spontaneous technique that periodically leads to unpredictable results. It also very much depends on the state of the artist and how much he has mastered and understood how to work with PF paints without brushes and in an unusual horizontal position.
